While the demo is mostly unchanged from the main game, players will only have access to Waford island and Luffy's crew at the beginning of the game, with other announced One Piece Odyssey locations like Alabasta and Water Seven being available in the full game. Many aspects of One Piece Odyssey's battling system will be included in the demo, giving fans of the franchise an idea of how much of the game will play before they go ahead with a purchase. As opposed to the large scope of One Piece Odyssey which will see players traversing across a big map, Tsuzuki suggested that this intro is more closed off for anyone that may get "bored easily" by the pacing of the game or different RPG elements. The demo focuses on the first two hours of One Piece Odyssey which was a priority for developers so that prospective buyers that are trying it get an idea of the game's plot. The main producer of One Piece Odyssey recently sat down to discuss the content that players will be able to explore in the demo which comes out on January 10. One Piece Odyssey was first shown off back in March as part of the franchise's 25th-anniversary festivities, and it immediately stood out from titles like One Piece Pirate Warriors or One Piece World Seeker by focusing on exploration and RPG elements
